The five senses

What are senses?

Before you read, let’s have a look at these words in your dictionary:
(Kitten, Information, power, refer, world around you)
They are the five powers (sight, hearing, smell, taste and touch) that your body uses to get information about the world around you.

Sight refers to eyes. It has the verb look and see. You say the flower looks pretty, but you say I see the flower with my eyes. This means you are using your sight.

Hearing refers to ears. It has the verb sound and hear. You say the music sounds loud, but you say I hear the music with my ears. This means you are using your hearing.
Smell refers to nose. It has the verb smell. You say the cake smells delicious, and you say I smell the cake with my nose. This means you are using your smell.

Taste refers to tongue. It has the verb taste. You say the lemon tastes sour and you say I taste the lemon with my tongue. This means you are using your taste.

Touch refers to parts of your body like hands, body, legs, fingers, etc. It has the verb feel and touch. You say the kitten feels soft but you say I touch the kitten with my fingers. This means you are using your touch.
