In order / so as + to-infinive

Grammar for kids and students
In order to talk about the PURPOSE of something, we use:
1. In order + to-infinive
2. So as + to-infinitive

E.g. The organizsation members are cutting down the trees along the road in order/so as to prevent the accident.
To make a negative one we use not in front of to-infinitve
E.g. He swept the broken glass off in order/so as not to be messy.
